Yet another Utah trip

We headed up to Utah again about 2 weeks ago. Drove up to Vegas, spent the night and then drove the rest of the way to my parents house. While we were there we got to say goodbye to Steve and Joann one more time before they left for Nauvoo. We went to lunch at Little America and spent the rest of the afternoon with them. They have made it safely to Nauvoo and started "working" today! Mikey drove back Sunday and went to work for a few days, then headed back up to Utah. We celebrated my mom's birthday and had a great time!

All the grandkids...let me explain the sad face...Miles and Brigham smacked heads right before I took this picture. He has such a sad face!

Posing for mom. He LOVED being able to sit outside on the blanket and look at the trees and feel the grass and watch all the kids playing. One night we went to the park behind my parents house and there were a ton of kids playing and he thought it looked so fun! He just started to giggle and kick his legs, he can't wait to play with the big kids!

While we were there Brigham finally learned how to say mama!!! Then the next day Paisley started saying it too! :)

Poor kid...such a rough life

Brigham has turned into a total drama queen!! He sits in his jumper thing and straightens his legs and grunts until you look at him! He also started to do this weird face (see below) I got it on video too! He definitely got his temper from Mike :)

We finally found a 4-wheeler! After looking for months we finally found one that was a good enough deal for Mikey to get it! Both of us aren't the types of people who are going to go 4-wheelin up in the mountains so we are using it mostly for our yard...spraying weeds and stuff. I'm so excited we have it finally!! Hopefully that means our yard is even closer!

Brigham also has a stinkin stye!! Poor kid!

He looks like a Japanese movie! Like when they talk and then their mouths keep moving with no sound...HAHA!!

Stupid monsoon!!

The last couple of nights we have decided to go on a walk right after a rain storm...little did we know that tarantulas love to come out after a huge rainstorm and this is what we ran in to...both nights!!!



It wasn't by our house but it still freaks me out!! Let's hope I never find one by our house!!!

New diets for all 3 of us

As some of you know once your baby turns 6 months you can now introduce solids to their diet...well as our last posts say we have started doing that. We took Brigham in to see his Dr. (for his flat head)exactly a week after his 6 month check and he had gained 9 oz!! Those solid foods are really getting to him!

Because of some comments from some people the last few weeks I have also started a "diet" It includes limiting my pop to only 1 a day and also limiting my candy intake. I have also tried to do 30 minutes on the eliptical and walk every night. I am doing pretty good so far, a little tired and have no energy, but thats from something else. The no pop and candy thing is killing me!

Mike has also started a new diet...he is trying to gain weight! Ya that's way fun to have in the house with me who's trying to lose weight! We will let you know how it all turns out.

We gave Brigham his first haircut on Thursday. His hair wasn't extremely long it was just longer in some spots and short in others so he kinda had a comb over. I was too nervous to cut it so I had Mike cut it. He looks like a little man now.
