We did it little buddy

Well we made the move...kinda. Last weekend we had a bunch of guys from the elders quorum come help us throw all our stuff in our HUGE moving truck! It took about 50 minutes! WOO for the church! then we decided to just drive it all the way down to my parents house. The truck wouldnt go any faster than 70 mph so the drive was a little bit longer than usual, but it was fun! We spent Sunday with my family and then headed to Vegas on Monday. We hadnt found a place to stay so we decided just to put our stuff in a storage unit...in North Las Vegas!! Its so scary there! Anyways we got there around 11 and it was already 85 degrees! YAY!! It wasnt very fun unloading the truck all by ourselves but we managed. On our way down our realtor Tanya, who is also our friend Melissa's mom, invited us to stay with them til we find a house! YAY! That helped relieve a lot of stress. While we were down there I had a job interview with an optometrist, he offered me the job right there! It's so crazy how things keep working out for us. The job was going to be part time doing a bunch of things, until the day before my interview he fired somebody which makes my job full time and just selling glasses!! Which I love to do! I start Monday so everyone pray for me, its been a while since I've been able to sell glasses.
Anyways we flew home that Tuesday and were sitting in the airport and guess who we saw??? Gene Simmons!!! I have some pictures of him but don't have them on the computer yet, I'll post them when I get a chance, I also saw Lara Spencer from "the insider" (Not many people know who she is but I'm a geek)
Friday my mom and Mallory flew up to Spokane and spent the weekend with us, we got a lot of shopping in, they got to see the "crazy" lady who stands on the corner and yells at me all the time. We also went to Riverfront park and got some amazing mini donuts! YUMMY! If I would have known they sold them there I would have been down there everyday! :) Sunday we went to church then headed out to Lake Coeur D'Alene, it was sooooo gorgeous! Monday I dropped Mikey off at the airport at 4 am!! He flew back to Kansas City for training this whole week. We drove my Tahoe all the way to Utah! We made it and didnt kill each other :) So I get to spend the week relaxing in Utah and hanging out with some friends while Mikey is working :)

New toy

So I was just curious to see who and how many people "stalked" us on our blog...so I asked my friend Loretta for some help and she sent me a link to this think called feedjit? Well now I KNOW who is stalking us and I think its freakin awesome!! So for those who dont want us to know you are looking you better watch out!

I haven't written in a while, this last weekend we were down in Utah for General Conference. Mikey's parents were able to make it too, we spent a couple nights at my parents house (Don't have pictures to prove it) HAHA just kidding mom! and 1 night with Mikey's parents. We had a great time! Well on our way home I started to feel sick AGAIN!! yep the next day had a fever, chills, aches, stuffy/runny nose, headache!! YAY!! I love the flu! Luckily Mikey hasnt got it yet and he has been taking care of me for the past few days. We are heading down to Vancouver for the last time before we move to Vegas this weekend for Easter, Mikey and I are in charge of the Easter egg hunt for all the kids, I can't wait!

As of right now we are planning on driving all our stuff in a Uhaul down to Vegas on the 20th, I have a job interview at an eye Dr down there the 21st and we will be looking at homes then. Then the 24th my mom and sister Mallory are flying up to Spokane to spend the weekend up here and then we will be driving down to Utah for the last time!! YAY!! I will be spending a week down there while Mikey is in Kansas City for training. It is coming way fast and cant wait!

It's ok don't worry it's a dry heat........

So I thought I should probably actually get on the blog myself and give everyone an update now that this news is official. As I'm sure many of you guys have figured out Lindsey and I were offered a great job/opportunity with a company called PBI/Gordon. I will officially be a Territorial Technical Representative. I will basically call on the reps like me right now. I will cover more territory. My territory will be Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Hawaii. We are going to be deciding over the next couple weeks where exactly we are going to move to. Right now I think it is going to be either Vegas or Phoenix. We are both leaning pretty hard to the Vegas area. Mostly because it will make it so much easier on me and my travel needs. Plus I think everyone I have told we might be in Vegas said to put them on a list because they are coming down to stay with us. Which won't be much of a problem because we are most likely not going to have a tough time finding a house to buy down there right now. There are sooooooo many houses on the market and it will definitely be fun to look at a ton of different homes and areas.

We will be staying in the Spokane area until the end of April. My last official day with Wilbur-Ellis is going to be sometime during the first full week of April but PBI and I both want to make sure we do whatever we can to make this situation easier for Wilbur. So I will most likely work with my replacement (if they have one by then) to help get him into as many supers as I can. So I will most likely travel out of Spokane for those two weeks until we make the move for real. Thank you all for the prayers and words of encouragement. I'm sure Lindsey will keep you posted better than I have.

No moving to St. George for us :(

But we are moving to Las Vegas Nevada!!! Heck yeah!! We heard back from Steve from PBI today and they offered Mikey the job, we can't live in St. George because its not in his territory but at least its still in a warm area! And the LDS population there is still pretty high! Thanks everybody for all your prayers and support! We will keep everybody updated on when we will be moving, most likely the end of April! We are so excited!

Update on Mikey's trip to Kansas City

Mikey went to Kansas City last week to interview for a new job...at first we really were VERY confident that he would get offered the job. Then about a week before he was planning on going he found out they were taking 2 other guys there too :( Then a couple days after that he talked to the regional dude, Steve and he kept hinting to Mikey that he was going to get the job, so again we were pretty confident! Then the trip came, he did an awesome job like he always does :) Then they told him that one of the other guys they interviewed really impressed them too, they didnt expect him to, so that kind of made us a little sad. They are deciding between Mikey and this other guy and will let us know hopefully the middle of this week (I think we have waited long enough HAHA) One thing that is kind of discouraging is yesterday in basically all 3 classes in church they talked about accepting God's will and not yours! So that got us thinking...we are getting to the point now where we feel comfortable with whatever happens, although I REALLY want this job! I will definitely keep everybody posted and would ask all of you to keep us in your prayers :)

UH OH!!!

So today Mikey found out that they are flying 2 other guys back to Kansas City to do a 2nd interview!!! AAHH!! I sure hope Mikey gets this job! He said the VP really likes him and is going to push for him to get the job, so it looks good, but it looked a lot better when I thought it was just Mikey flying to KC! Please everybody pray for us! :)
